Regulated Firearm Storage :

Our Regulated Storage service is designed for situations where legal compliance is essential. In this service, your firearm(s) are officially logged into our Federal Bound Book, meaning Zack’s Sports becomes the temporary custodian of your firearm(s) under federal regulation.

-Regulated Storage is ideal if:

A relative has passed away, and you're waiting to obtain your New York State pistol permit

You’ve moved into New York State and are in the process of getting your NYS handgun license

When you're ready to retrieve your firearm(s), we’ll handle all required paperwork, background checks, or, if preferred, we can safely ship them to another FFL dealer.

-Regulated Storage by the month :

Regulated Storage begins at the time your Firearm(s) are in our possession.

Monthly subscription rate $30 per gun.

Firearm Retrieval from Law Enforcement

We offer a professional Firearm Retrieval Service to assist individuals and families in legally and securely taking possession of firearms currently held by law enforcement agencies.

Whether the firearms are being held due to a legal matter, a protection order, or following the death of a loved one, we coordinate directly with the Police Department to retrieve the firearms on your behalf, Legally take possession and transfer them into our secure facility under Control Storage. Hold the firearms safely until you obtain the necessary permits or make arrangements for lawful transfer or sale.

Our team handles all paperwork and compliance details, making the process smooth, respectful, and fully within legal guidelines.

One time transfer and/or pickup from Police Department $100 per gun

This service also requires a Monthly subscription $30 per gun.

This all starts by submitting the form below.

You'll be asked to provide your full name, contact information, current address, and let us know if we’re picking up firearms from a police department or if they're already stored at Zack’s Sports. You’ll also select a start date for storage—either ASAP (today’s date) or a future date.

Once submitted, we’ll review your answers and email you a contract within 24–48 hours.

If we’re retrieving firearms from law enforcement, an additional form will be emailed to you. This form must be filled out, notarized, and either mailed or dropped off at Zack’s Sports. After the contract is signed, we’ll send you an invoice to complete the process.
