Handgun Only

Our range is equipped with two shooting lanes. The target retrieval system allows shooters to set their targets at 3, 5, 7, or 10 yards. To maintain safety and compliance with range regulations, firearms and ammunition used must not exceed a velocity of 3,000 feet per second (FPS). Absolutely no steel core, steel jacketed, tracer, incendiary or reloaded ammunition.

  1. User of the Range must be familiar with any firearm used on the shooting range and must handle all the firearms in a safe and reasonable manner.  Know your equipment.

  2. A maximum of 2 People per shooting lane.

  3. Firearms brought on to the range shall be cased until forward of the yellow ready line (on the floor behind the assigned shooting stall)

  4. Drawing from the holster is prohibited .

  5. Rapid Fire is prohibited .

  6. Loading and unloading of Firearms on the Range is permitted only when the Firearm is pointed downrange, in front of the ready line, at the assigned shooting stall.

  7. No outside ammunition is permitted. All ammunition used on the range must be purchased from Zack’s Sports. Ammunition exceeding 3,000 feet per second (FPS) is not allowed. Steel core, steel jacketed, tracer, or incendiary rounds are strictly prohibited.

  8. Any use of prohibited ammunition will result in immediate termination of range privileges and a minimum $5,000 damage/penalty fee. Customer agrees this amount represents a reasonable estimate of potential damage to range equipment and infrastructure, and is not a fine or punitive charge. Additional charges may apply for any actual damages exceeding this amount.

  9. Absolutely no steel core, steel jacketed, tracer or incendiary ammunition/rounds .

  10. Use of EYE and EAR Protection is Mandatory on the range at all times .

  11. Wear appropriate clothing, closed toe shoes (required) and pants are recommended, no low cut tops. Baseball caps are highly recommend.

  12. While on the Range, Firearms must be pointed downrange at all times. When leaving the firing line Firearms must be unloaded and cased.

  13. Should a misfire or other malfunction occur, keep the firearm pointed down range place the firearm on the desk, pointing down range, and obtain assistance.

  14. Brass/Empty cases are to stay on the Range. Picking up brass/empty cases is prohibited. You can use the broom to police up the brass/empty cases into the brass bucket.

  15. Firing at other than approved targets will result in revocation of range use and range privileges, and liability for damages.

  16. Negligent discharge, damages or injuries must be reported to the range officer immediately, no matter how minor they may seem.

  17. You are financially responsible for negligent discharge to walls, ceiling and floor . Please make sure you are aiming at the target before you press the trigger.

  18. Never move forward of the firing line. If anything falls forward of the firing line, contact the range officer for assistance.

  19. Use of the range while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Persons believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused use of the range.

  20. Smoking, eating and drinking is prohibited on the Range.

  21. Remember to wash your hands after shooting.

  22. In order to shoot a Handgun on the Range a NYS Handgun license is required.

  23. No one under the age of 18 is permitted on the Range.

  24. Individuals ages 18–20 are permitted to shoot only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who possesses a valid New York State handgun license.

  25. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason.

Expectant Mothers are not permitted on the range
